Tseung Kwan O Line

The Tseung Kwan O Line provided the second crossharbour route under the eastern section of Hong Kong harbour long after the central tunnel had been conveying passengers for years on the Tsuen Wan Line.  The new line allowed for better access to Hong Kong island to/from eastern Kowloon.  The stations at the end of the line in Kowloon are relatively lifeless compared with those at the western end of the line (on Hong Kong island) and highlights the problems of trying to develop communities from scratch.
